Course Overview: Short Term Low Impact (STLI) works are those conducted without the assistance of accredited Traffic Management personnel, and in accordance with simplified Traffic Guidance Schemes. STLI deals specifically with those worksites which are of such a short nature and have sufficiently low impact that a site-specific risk assessment has determined that the work can be undertaken without the use of a Static Worksite. The types of activities that this training could be appropriate for are those that do not impact traffic flow (e.g., lane closures and speed reductions).
